Seaboard Coastline
10-16 foot waves that pounded Maineâ € ™ s coast from a hurricane of category 1 Bill seemed to be a flagship for surfers from all over the East coast. Although there shame that victims have been the result of Naturei € ™ s romp through the east coast, it seems that the old addage that a silver lining by Liesa somewhere that is € | at least for surfers.
Despite the damage caused by hurricanes, surfers were lucky enough to experience some € â € œpipelineâ size waves that rolled through some of eastern Coasta € ™ s beaches, as in Montauk New York. Also if the swimmers were not permitted to enter the water, the excited crowd surfing paddled out for set consistent and pounding waves. The scene reminded me of the North Shore of Oahu during the winter consistent swells, as the crowds gather in growing mass of gawk and watch the brave boatmen paddle out into a monster-sized waves.
They call them crazy, adrenaline junkies call them â € | all that can be labeled, are out in the waves for the same reason, like every other surfer: the stoke. The ever mysterious and elusive indescribable œstokeâ € â €.
What is a œstokeâ € €? The best way to explain it is to let someone experience for themselves, but that is as easy as hitting an arrow with another arrow while you are riding in the middle of a hurricane.
Thus, the lack of a better way to explain stoke, turn to use metaphors that hopefully match a certain reference point that people can identify with. The difficulty is that stoke defies definition, for the simple fact that it varies greatly from person to person. Although most refer to it with the same name, the experience that an individual goes through is quite unique within each person.
Stoke is, for all intents and definition, which has no personal experience individually prerequisites â € "small waves, waves, boards surfing, body boarding, solitary, or surrounded by friends, happens at a given moment in time. It is about your mood, and mood.
Someone once said the secret life ina toa is one thing and one thing only. Once you find that one thing you must spend all your energy and effort to ensure that everything you do and is dedicated to fight for that thing. When questioned about what one thing That is, the answer is OEI was simply â € donâ € ™ t know. It (the only thing) is different for everyone.â € 'Go, and find your â Stoke € | one thing you!
