Few questions about the weather?
I have some difficulty in answering these questions, and we would appreciate help from anyone! Here they are: 1) Explain why air masses that develop in Canada are colder air masses that crosses the Arctic Ocean. 2) Explain why some clouds rarely occur on the windward side of a lake during a lake effect snowstorms. 3) A snowstorm is underway in Montreal. We note that the size of the flakes of snow begin to increase dramatically. What might expect to happen for the type of precipitation over the next few hours? Be sure to explain your answer. 4) Why is it so hard obtain a snowstorm in Western Europe? 5) Explain the observation that the snowstorms along the east coast of North America are frequent, but often intense when occur.
1. temperature of air on earth faster then water 2. because the wind pushes the water moisture in the wind not against it 3.Not sure, but it means you are in an area with high amounts of snow moisture in the air 4. the water is hot off the 5 Ocean from Europe. because Boies lakes and other bodies of water and as air curents can bring down the cold air from Canada
