Road Bed
And salt on the roads affecting my bed of flowers?
I just moved to Vermont last winter, and when the plow came was broke some of my flower bed along the road. It 'very large and goes right down the road. Well when the plow is the scoop on all the snow on the road and pushes in my bed. There have been some newly planted tulips last fall and went, but did not seem so great. Now that the flowers are dead are yellow and green parts sickly, where, like tulips in my other properties that have gone to flowers and do not look that way. I planted lots of bulbs in spring after the ground was practically and nothing came up, but some strands are disordered and Day Lilies that I thought grew up easily. I made the right care for all things wise and put fresh manure compost with them. The same thing for some dahlias I planted there. They seem to come up, but not as well as other dahlias I planted on the property. What can I plant there seems horrible! Will wild flowers from seed to do well?
