Operating an automobile and learning the rules of the road can often be a difficult task to accomplish, especially if doing so in a country other than that originally learned. Nevertheless, getting used to our automobiles is something that we all must do.
If you are driving a car automatic transmission, manual transmission, drive car right, left or left-hand drive car, there's usually always something new to learn when you switch to a new car. Left and right with left hand drive cars can be particularly difficult to get used to, if you learned to drive in a place where the wheel is was only the right or the left.
History of Left Hand Drive Cars: There are many countries in the world who have had long-standing traditions of cars driving on the left and right well as the laws of the country that have been in force for centuries relating to the rules of the road and the flow of traffic. England has a particularly interesting traffic history. Between the end of 1990, archaeologists in England found a well preserved ancient path and track where horses were used for travel.
Since their discovery, it follows that riders usually keep to the left while on the go as well as guide the horse with his left hand. Needless to say, that tradition has been maintained over the centuries in England.
However, the tradition of driving on the left in Britain was made secure through a law that was passed in 1700. This law, Highway Act 1773, was essentially a law and order for all traffic to keep left while driving. On the other hand, in the same period were the United States changed the rules of the road from left to driving on the right because of the configuration of the horse-driven freight wagons. That tradition has been maintained also, and especially vehicles RHD are now manufactured in the United States.
Countries with Left Hand Drive Cars: Many places around the world, and perhaps the most countries, have left cars LHD with driving on the right lane. However, some countries are using mainly the left-hand drive vehicles, with driving on the left as well. Drive cars have left the steering wheel on the left side of the car (the driver) and are mainly for traffic on the right, though.
An example, as discussed above, who primarily use vehicles with the steering wheel on the left side of the car as the traffic flow on the left lane, is the United Kingdom. This is very different from the United States where the cars drive on the left are used, but the traffic lane on the right is the supreme law in almost all sectors.
Even if a country can be left in left-hand drive car, though, right handed vehicles are also sometimes allowed. For example, let the cars drive on the left are used principally in the United Kingdom, but automobile consumers still exercise their right to buy the right drive vehicles from other various European importers. On the other hand, Some countries prohibit the use of wrong-side steering wheel cars so that no confusion of traffic flow within the country.
All in all, left left-hand drive cars are certainly known to many individuals around the world today. With many of the major automobile manufacturers specialized in producing vehicles LHD, you can be almost certain that this trend will continue for all time.
