Why is rail freight in Canada, and assumably the United States, is not as popular as it used to be?
I noticed when I travel around in southern Ontario that so many tracks are removed and often songs that factories or service companies that are not in use. I wonder why, if a train can carry 100 times what a truck can carry what makes it so popular trucks. I know just-in-time delivery but I took the train would be much cheaper.
