Why you should use metal frames. Both conservators and hobbyists alike are concerned, with the preservation of photos. Why not corners are permanently attached to the upstream edge, which allows a little 'movement and that will help protect your photograph of this damage.
Moisture can combine with contaminants such as pollution and dirt to create acids that can cause discoloration of the photographs and damage to wood frames. This effect is accentuated if the glass used in the frame is in direct contact with the work of art. To prevent damage from humidity, is a technique for framing your photographs board mat. The board of Mat helps to provide air space between the glass and photography, so that the water will have a diminished ability to earn on the glass.
Light can devastate framed photographs because it can cause fading photos. Low level lighting is best for storing photos, but if this is not possible another option is to use metal frames with glass designed to filter out harmful light rays or plexiglass.
There are pictures of high definition supplies that are acid free and ideal for use with your choice of mount board and mat when framing a print. Board is the authority Mat and mount should be made of acid free materials, and the photograph shall be attached to the mounting board using acid-free products, as acid-free hinging tape, or archival photo corners in quality.
