Loading Rack
One of the latest innovations in storage solutions are the mass flow pallet racks. These systems offer a number of advantages over traditional racks, and are being installed in an increasing number of warehouses, thanks to greater efficiency and space savings factors that have owners.
While a system conventional pallet rack requires strict control of stocks in order to ensure that the oldest stock is used before the most recent acquisitions, the whole system is incorporated in the construction of a pallet flow rack, and it will automatically use the oldest items first.
The real structure of a system of flow pallet rack is a radical departure from the traditional static shelving, and while it requires a higher cost of installation and purchase compared to other options, provides a number of advantages in terms of space savings and better inventory control that comes standard.
In essence, in a flow system of pallet rack, pallet are loaded and unloaded at the end of the rack, rather than along the side. Instead of shelving standard network, a system of rollers slowed down a gentle slope is used. Once pallet are loaded on one end of the rack, you start sliding along on the other end in which to fill the stockpile. The oldest elements are always close in line to be downloaded, and this guarantees that the stock is not wasted.
A system of air tubes can lift the shelves shelves up to one end allow to roll along the ledge until you enter the desired location for storage. Once the item is in place, the beams are lowered to a resting position so that the blade remains in force. Wheels that roll along the loads are contained within the beam, and require minimal maintenance, keeping operating costs for system flow pallet rack as low as possible.
Pallet Rack Flow are intended to be used in a storage system, with very few different materials needed. Limited access to the ends of the racks means that each level can be used by only a single material – even if a number of pallets can be stored on each of them. If you use a lot of an item then this should be stored on a flow system, while other elements may be less known stored in conventional warehouses.
A pallet rack flow involved much less space than a conventional system of access is required only at both ends unit. In fact, you can place the rack of flow between traditional shelves, or simply fill the entire central area of your warehouse these racks if that suits your business model.
The use of flow pallet racks creates a number of benefits to staff, as they will able to operate in a much more secure than a traditional warehouse allows. For each area specifically used for a single purpose – either loading or unloading, is quite simple for anyone to know where they are, and what is happening around them, reducing the risk of accidents.
