Forklift jib boom attachments are much less expensive than jib cranes and can perform almost all the same tasks at a fraction of the cost, with heavy equipment premises. Forklift jibs allow you to reach over obstructions to place heavy loads on roofs, elevated platforms and bridges. Can be used to reach through the windows doors and pick up loads of second and third story areas still under construction. Forklift & fork truck jibs can also be used to load and unload trucks and flatbed trailers. Many companies use them to suspend trusses and laminated wood, flakes and can also be very useful when reaching over scaffolding for masonry work. Overall, some of the most useful tools you can invest in equipment for handling and manipulation on a construction site.
Each attack arm boom truck is made with two swivel hooks. A hook is fastened to the end of the arm, and others can be manually installed in any position for the boom lower. This allows you to take any load with two attachment points. Each hook is individually assessed nor to £ 4,000. or £ 6,000, depending on the size of the model. Is can use a hook or two to pick up a load, but you must ensure that the total weight of the arm and the load does not exceed the rated capacity of the arm, as shown in the graph of load for extended or retracted position.
Easy Rack Fork Truck jibs attachments are intended for use on industrial lift trucks and rough terrain straight-mast or stretch to reach forklifts. Forklift truck jib cranes install on the forklift by inserting both forks fully the fork pockets. The rear of the crane arm then seats against the back of the fork. A safety chain wraps forklift carriage to hold it in place.
Jib Boom Forklift Attachment Load Capacity
Maximum loading capacity of flakes in the range of lift trucks is extended or retracted positions from 1935-6000 lbs. Asking material handling specialist about load limits for your particular application. Recall also that the load capacity ratings are for the jib itself and not the forklift nor the maximum load that can be used safely with a forklift particular. Whenever forklift jibs, or any other attachments for that matter, addition to a fork truck, the new center of gravity created by the seizure, will reduce the lifting capacity of the forklift. Fork Fork Lift & safe attachment use
Before using an arm lift, be sure you are adequately protected in the truck with chains and hooks. Always check twice to make sure that the screw pins are tight. Also double check that your load limit calculations were done correctly, and take into account, while making sure that the rated capacities sometimes decrease when the arm is in a raised position when the mast is tilted forward, or when the arm is extended with telehandlers.
Never pull a load with a forklift attachment arm. These forklift attachments are designed for vertical lift. Always bring along the load without letting it swing. Each time a load is lifted, use extreme caution to avoid tipping the fork truck.
