will be a powerful electromagnet affect electronics on a remote control?
I have a 1 / 6 scale dune buggy and I would mount in the rear my 4×4 so I can remove it with a simple movement of a switch.I want to use an electromagnet, but do not want to damage the electronics of car.Help RC!
The magnetic field does not damage the electronics, but turning the electromagnet on and off peaks of high voltage and generate an electromagnetic field that can cause problems. When you make your electromagnet, be sure and put a damper diode in parallel with the coil and an RC snubber network (you can Google "damper diode, and "RC snubber network" for examples) ..
