You have ten or more pounds that I can not lose, no matter how much you diet or exercise? Family History
My propensity towards obesity is genetic, the pure and simple. My five brothers all have the same challenges that I and my sister, then resort to surgery to control his weight. Those who warn that genetic have nothing to do with body fat or being over weight, of course, comes from a family like mine husband's-HE maintains an exceptionally low level of fat body and can literally eat what they want. This is not the case for me. I have always struggled with my weight and remember, even at very young ages, wondering why I was still active "fat" When my friends were not much more sedentary, or because of other teenagers could eat much more than me. I later wrote my college thesis about the causes of weight gain and weight control and nutrition have studied extensively. As an adult, I carefully watch my calories, exercise regular exercise, eat healthy food and make an effort to get enough sleep, yet my weight continued to creep up. I've had nutritionists, trainers and suppliers health services simply shrug their shoulders and say: "You missed something somewhere."
